Designed to give you a unique competitive edge in the job market and position yourself as a valuable and highly skilled team member. Having both marketing & visual design skills, you will be able to create marketing strategies as well as the promotional materials needed to send it to market.
The Full-Stack Marketer Diploma is designed to put you in control of all stages of digital marketing: creating beautifully crafted marketing campaigns, engaging user interfaces, and leading memorable brand experiences.
This program consists of 48 weeks of in-class time in UI Design and Digital Marketing, followed by a 48 week paid internship. At the end of this program, you will be able to create a brand identity and marketing strategy, design web and mobile applications, plan and execute engaging marketing campaigns, make data-driven design decisions, track customer behaviour, optimize conversions and much more.
Working with our Community Partners on real projects, you will get practical hands-on experience in website and content management, marketing strategy, online brand strategy, conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing, search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM), social media management and advertising.
Digital Marketing Strategy
Develop an end-to-end digital marketing strategy considering the buyer’s journey and company goals to reach overall business objectives.
Typography, Colour & Composition
Create coherent and balanced designs by making good use of colour, typography and other visual elements.
Google Analytics & Tag Manager
Learn how to implement Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to apply fundamental concepts like performance measurement, comparison and optimization.
Creative Design Software
Learn Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InVision, Principle, and get an introduction to InDesign.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Understand on-page, off-page and technical SEO practices and how to best implement these strategies across different types of websites.
User Interface Design & Prototyping
Create clickable prototypes of marketable and intuitive websites and apps that effortlessly let the user to accomplish their goals.
Design and develop the aspects of what makes a great brand: personality, values, definition, promise, visual identity and brand storytelling.
Convey effective interviews and surveys to identify real human needs, and leverage those insights to guide you through the design and testing processes.
Content Creation & Strategy
Plan, develop, and manage a content strategy for a client, and learn how to track a develop your strategy over time.
Build ad strategies that attract and generate customers through account optimization, bidding strategies and compelling ad copy.
Web & App Design
Design responsive websites and apps considering their specific technologies and platforms.
Build an email marketing strategy and learn how to increase open rates and engagement to run effective email marketing campaigns for clients.
Social Media Management & Advertising
Understand how to manage multiple social media platforms to achieve specific business objectives, and the fundamentals of advertising on major social platforms.
Learn how to attract users to download and engage with a mobile app. Create an app trailer to serve as multi-purpose content to be used across various channels.
RED provided a safe space for me to gain both the latest soft and hard skills to grow as a designer, digital marketer, and person. Also, RED provided me with the opportunity to work with Community Partners working on real projects. This was invaluable in preparing me for the real world. Emily is an HGTV mega-fan who also happens to love digital marketing and business strategy, in that order. Emily has always been one to inspire, empower, and educate those around her — even in her early days as a brand manager for Tiger Balm and a promotions rep for Mr. Clean Auto Dry! She’s been on the path to teaching and education right from the get go. The reason? She loves getting people excited about the things she’s excited about. Right now, that’s anything and everything in digital marketing.
Outside of the office, Emily is committed to health, wellness, family and all things Joanna Gaines (#MyHero) and interior design. She lives the sweaty life and will probably rope you into joining her for a P90X workout or a bootcamp class. If you see her in the hallways, say HELLO! She loves connecting with passionate students who want to make a positive mark in this world.
Becky is a digital marketing wizard with over 8 years of experience managing marketing campaigns for small businesses, non-profit organizations and educational institutions. She currently runs her own digital agency which specializes in long-term SEO campaigns, geared towards helping new and growing businesses. Her diverse skillset in development, content and analytics allow her to be involved in the SEO process from start to finish and facilitate both her and her clients success. When she’s not working on taking over the SEO world, one company at a time, she can be found hiking with her pooch Jamee or travelling the world, sometimes both at the same time
Mandy is a digital marketing strategist who is experienced in demand marketing and lead generations for B2Bs. She spends most of her days optimizing digital campaigns and implementing new strategies for various digital marketing channels.
In her spare time, she enjoys dreaming up her next e-commerce idea or taking catnaps with her cat.
Jon originally started out his career in film and marketing, but quickly fell in love with design soon afterwards. While working as a Multimedia and Graphic designer for the past 5 years, his love for storytelling and creative problem solving continued to thrive, which he further cultivated at RED’s UX Professional Program. It was there where his passion of teaching and mentoring flourished and eventually landed him a position as a design instructor.

Our Career Support Team is there to support you through your job search process. They will advise you on job opportunities, introduce you to the RED hiring network and coach you during job interview and negotiation. You will also be given continual support from your instructors. This includes connecting to industry professionals and providing references to potential employers. The Development roles outlined below are most commonly available to students as an internship position but are not limited to these roles:
Social Media Coordinator/Strategist
Creating and curating social content, engaging with the community, monitoring trending conversations and measuring success metrics.
Creating and executing a SEO strategy to improve search rankings and build stronger brand visibility including on page, off page and technical efforts.
Paid Advertising Coordinator/Strategist
Building online advertising strategies to drive results for your business including search, display, remarketing, video and social media ad campaigns.
Digital Marketing Coordinator/Strategist
Developing, implementing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels including organic, paid and earned tactics.
You will have basic knowledge of the core concept behind graphic design: composition, colour theory and typography which you will be able to apply to any media including print.
UI Designers usually specialize in creating style guides to guide the design of interfaces for websites, desktop and mobile applications.
