Designed to give you a unique competitive edge in the job market and position yourself as a valuable and highly skilled team member. Having both marketing & visual design skills, you will be able to create marketing strategies as well as the promotional materials needed to send it to market.

The Full-Stack Marketer Double Diploma is designed to put you in control of all stages of digital marketing: creating beautifully crafted marketing campaigns, engaging user interfaces, and leading memorable brand experiences.

This program consists of two 12-week modules: User Interface & Communication Design and Digital Marketing Professional. At the end of this program, you will be able to create a brand identity and marketing strategy, design web and mobile applications, plan and execute engaging marketing campaigns, make data-driven design decisions, track customer behaviour, optimize conversions and much more.

Working with our Community Partners on real projects, you will get practical hands-on experience in website and content management, marketing strategy, online brand strategy, conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing, search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM), social media management and advertising.

Develop an end-to-end digital marketing strategy considering the buyer’s journey and company goals to reach overall business objectives.

Typography, Colour & Composition

Create coherent and balanced designs by making good use of colour, typography and other visual elements.

Google Analytics & Tag Manager

Learn how to implement Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to apply fundamental concepts like performance measurement, comparison and optimization.

Creative Design Software

Learn Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InVision, Principle, and get an introduction to InDesign.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Understand on-page, off-page and technical SEO practices and how to best implement these strategies across different types of websites.

User Interface Design & Prototyping

Create clickable prototypes of marketable and intuitive websites and apps that effortlessly let the user to accomplish their goals.

Brand Strategy

Design and develop the aspects of what makes a great brand: personality, values, definition, promise, visual identity and brand storytelling.

Human-Centric Design

Convey effective interviews and surveys to identify real human needs, and leverage those insights to guide you through the design and testing processes.

Content Creation & Strategy

Plan, develop, and manage a content strategy for a client, and learn how to track a develop your strategy over time.

Google Ads

Build ad strategies that attract and generate customers through account optimization, bidding strategies and compelling ad copy.

Web & App Design

Design responsive websites and apps considering their specific technologies and platforms.

Email Marketing

Build an email marketing strategy and learn how to increase open rates and engagement to run effective email marketing campaigns for clients.

Social Media Management & Advertising

Understand how to manage multiple social media platforms to achieve specific business objectives, and the fundamentals of advertising on major social platforms.

Mobile Marketing

Learn how to attract users to download and engage with a mobile app. Create an app trailer to serve as multi-purpose content to be used across various channels.

RED provided a safe space for me to gain both the latest soft and hard skills to grow as a designer, digital marketer, and person. I am an interaction designer who believes that anything can be designed to enhance it’s user experience whether digital or analogue. From websites and apps to immersive virtual reality environments, I am constantly looking for ways to delight users through design. Curiosity is in my nature. My passion for replicating dishes from restaurants I’ve been to or figuring out how to create a piece of furniture keeps me busy when I’m not designing. Oh and that is Oliver, my Wire Fox Terrier. He also keeps me busy.

Having completed RED Academy’s own part-time Digital Marketing course, as well as earning a BA in Design from Emily Carr University in conjunction with Falmouth University (UK), Fiona brings a wealth of skills and insights into the realm of Communication Design.

She is currently a leader in brand design and digital marketing for local music events around Vancouver, designing collateral for print, digital and social media content.

Some of her clients include: Nike, The Georgia Straight, Beatroute Magazine, Daily Hive Vancouver and the Waldorf Hotel.

Designer by day (and DJ by night), Fiona is fuelled by her passion for old school hip hop, street photography, travel and the growing art + music scene in Vancouver.
